Flash Developer

My client, based in the Sandyford area of Dublin, is a leading independent interactive agency that specialises in web design and development. Due to ongoing expansion an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Flash Developer has arisen. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, creative team.  

Responsibilities  

Implement and design Flash interactivities and templates to meet requirements

Ability to write and develop Flash ActionScript 2.0 / 3.0 to create visual interfaces that communicate with web services

Troubleshoot existing Flash product issues and develop solutions

Structuring Flash content to enable efficient re-use, customisation and localization

Develop user, functional and business specifications

Work with an interdisciplinary team that includes project managers, engineering, graphic designers, marketing and executive leadership

Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Multimedia / Computer Science / Equivalent or significant industrial experience

3-5 years as an Interactive Flash Developer

Thorough experience with dynamic, interactive content in Flash CS3

Expert knowledge of Actionscript 2.0 & 3.0

Excellent debugging skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills with fluency in English essential

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery, Flex and Adobe AIR an advantage

SQL, XML or PHP experience would be a plus

Experience in developing interactive learning and gaming products would be a plus

Salary is dependent upon experience and skill set
