Senior Credit Analyst

Our Client, a leading Financial Services Client, in Dublin City Centre have a vacancy for a Senior Credit Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Active involvement in the credit decision making process by
  • Advising the decision-makers on key factors impinging on specific cases
  • Ratification of credit limits, in support of Line Management.
  • Agreeing the grading of credit proposals submitted by Corporate Banking & Global Treasury Business Units, at inception and review, based on industry and financial analysis of borrowers
  • Providing support to Senior Management in the Credit Unit
  • Having input into the development of Credit Policy and Best Practice
  • Providing guidance/interpretation of Best Practice and Policy to the Business Units.
    •Providing front-end guidance in respect of credit matters, for new or unusual proposals.
    Requirements
  • Credit Management & Financial Markets Knowledge
  • A proven track record in credit evaluation and management over an extended period
  • Customer Relationship Building: A deep understanding of the need to provide distinctive quality customer service and to develop long term profitable customer relationships for Capital Markets
  • Problem Solving & Decision-Making: Identifying and analysing issues and problems, developing solutions and using judgement to make sound and dependable decisions.
  • Communication & Influence: Communicating ideas and information in a constructive and positive manner to make a positive impact and to influence others to agree an outcome or take a course of action
  • Change & Innovation: Being flexible and enterprising and proactive in recommending ideas, solutions and methods to improve business performance
